Building a Place for History
Darren Boch is the superintendent of the Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park, located in Paterson, New Jersey. The park was established in 2011 and is a part of the National Park System. Prior to becoming the first superintendent for the Great Falls national park, Darren served as the Chief of Public Affairs for the National Parks of New York Harbor, which includes 10 national parks in the New York-New Jersey metropolitan area, to include such iconic national monuments as the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Prior to joining the National Park Service, Darren was a communications professional in politics and for a public relations agency. A officer veteran of the U.S. Army, he was a Distinguished Military Graduate of R.O.T.C. from Southern Illinois University, where he earned a B.S. in Communications.
