John Hnedak, Deputy Superintendent for Business Management, Planning and Development, has worked for the National Park Service for over 35 years. Before coming to the Statue of Liberty National Monument, John was the Chief of Strategic Planning, Resource Management and Business Management for Gateway National Recreation Area. John has served as an acting superintendent at Morristown NHP and the Jamaica Bay Unit of Gateway. Before coming to New York he was the Chief of Historic Preservation Technical Services at the NPS Philadelphia Regional Office.
