Building a Place for History
Sarah E. Minegar, Ph.D. is the Archives Technician and Museum Educator at the Morristown National Historical Park, where she manages the Lloyd W. Smith Archival Collection and the Primary Source Seminar Archival Tutorial program. Sarah was hired to process and re-house the Smith collection which includes approximately 15,000 printed works and nearly 300,000 manuscripts, spanning from the fifteenth through the early twentieth century. Her background in secondary education was instrumental in her ability to help design and execute a new archives-based educational program at Morristown. She is passionate about sharing with young people the documents that bring history to life.
