Ekamon Venin

Ekamon Venin is a two-term councilman for the Borough of Pompton Lakes. He currently serves as Chairman of the Finance and Personnel Committee and is liaison to the Planning Board and Historic Commission. Ek has continually served as Council Liaison to the Historic Commission since 2017. He has collaborated on various initiatives to, “safeguard the heritage of Pompton Lakes by preserving the resources within the Borough which reflect its cultural, social, economic, and architectural history.” Outside of his role as Councilman, Ek is a 23-year employee of UPS. His current position is as a Product Owner in Corporate Industrial Engineering, responsible for a handful of globally used package delivery systems. He is married and is the father of two girls. In his spare time, Ek enjoys photography and studying martial arts. His entire family studies Isshin-Ryu Karate, his wife and girls are brown belts; Ek is a 1st degree black belt and assistant instructor.
