Building a Place for History
Emily T. Cooperman, M.S., Ph.D. is a landscape and architectural historian and historic preservation and CRM consultant in practice for nearly 30 years. She currently serves as the Senior Architectural Historian for PS&S. She founded ARCH Preservation Consulting and served as its principal for a decade, following her position as the Director of Historic Preservation for the Cultural Resources Consulting Group. Emily also previously served as the Director of Research for the Architectural Archives of the University of Pennsylvania, and was a founding principal of George E. Thomas Associates, Inc. Emily started out her career in museum work, and has worked in a broad range of project types.
