Ian Marshall is Dean of the School of Arts and Humanities at Stockton University. He is also a Professor in the Literature Program, where he specializes in Cultural Rhetoric, Modern American Literature, and Rhetoric and Composition. He has been in higher education administration for 29 years serving as a writing program coordinator, department chair, associate Dean and Dean. He continues to keep an active publication agenda. His most recent essay, Hemingway, Rac(ism), and Criticism appears in The New Hemingway Series (Cambridge University Press, 2020). He is currently a guest editor for the Hemingway Review where he is working on a collection of essays focused on Race and Racism in Ernest Hemingway’s writings. The collection is scheduled to appear in fall 2023.
