Building a Place for History
Trish Maunder, MA, is an accessible program designer and consultant for museums and art institutions. She is the co-founder and Creative Director of Philly Touch Tours (PTT), an organization that promotes inclusion and accommodations for people with vision loss in Philadelphia and the surrounding area’s cultural life through carefully designed sensory programs and touch tours. PTT also conducts sensitivity training and experiential workshops for museum staff, museum education students, artists and teachers. Trish is also a professor at the Art Education & Design Department at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, where she teaches Art & Inclusionary Education and The History of Ideas in Art and Museum Education to Master of Arts in Teaching and Museum Studies students.
