About the Conference
Welcome to the New Jersey History and Historic Preservation Conference, an annual statewide event dedicated to providing educational and networking opportunities for preservation minded individuals. Hosted by the Friends of New Jersey Heritage, the New Jersey Historic Trust, and their partners, this conference brings together a diverse community of professionals and volunteers passionate about history and historic preservation.
Attendees include experts and enthusiasts from various fields such as architecture, planning, heritage site and museum management, public history, archaeology, municipal historic preservation commissions, county heritage offices, and academia.

Registration
How do I purchase tickets?
You can purchase tickets by visiting Eventbrite (in March). Please read the ticket options carefully before making a selection. If you have any questions, please contact info@friendsofnjheritage.org.
How do I know what tickets I purchased?
In addition to receiving a confirmation email, you can also create an Eventbrite account to manage your events.
I purchased the wrong ticket; can I change my ticket?
Yes, please contact info@friendsofnjheritage.org to make changes to your purchase.
Are early bird discounts available?
Save $35 when you purchase your early bird ticket before May 14.
What happens if I am no longer able to attend the conference?
If you are no longer able to attend the conference, you may transfer your ticket(s) to another individual or request a refund by contacting info@friendsofnjheritage.org.
What is the refund policy?
Refunds are processed on a case-by-case basis. Please contact info@friendsofnjheritage.org with details of your request.
Sponsor Opportunities
Where will the marketplace be held?
The marketplace will be at the Annunciation Center on the Saint Elizabeth University campus on June 18.
What quantity of promotional materials is recommended for inclusion with the tote bag?
Please send 300 (brochures, postcards, flyers, pens, stickers, magnets, etc.) to the New Jersey Historic Trust by May 21.
How many tickets are included in my sponsorship?
Please read the sponsor benefits carefully as each sponsor level includes credits to use towards purchasing tickets. The credit may be used to purchase tours, workshops, or General Admission. The credited amount tickets differ depending on the sponsor level.
Submissions
When will the sessions be held?
Workshops, tours, and sessions will be held at Saint Elizabeth University. Workshops and tours take place on June 17 with sessions on June 18.
Is there a speaker discount?
Yes, by submitting a session proposal you agree to pay $40, an $85 discount.
Hotels and Travel
What are the public transportation options available to the conference?
New Jersey Transit trains to the SEU campus originate from Hoboken, New Jersey or New York's Pennsylvania Station. The train stops directly at the gate of Saint Elizabeth University (Convent Station stop). The "Midtown Direct" makes the trip to and from Manhattan in only 45 minutes each way. Community Coach provides scheduled services from Morris and Essex counties to New York City and other professional charter service in the greater New York City area.
Is there a recommended hotel near the conference venue and is there a discount for conference attendees?

Is there a shuttle from the hotel to the conference venue?
No, there is no shuttle from the hotel to the conference venue.

The conference will be held at Saint Elizabeth University on June 17 and 18. Please read your ticket carefully as dates may differ depending on the ticketed event (workshop, tour, General Admission, etc.).
Parking, registration, sessions, tours, and workshops will be held in the Annunciation Center.
