Darley Newman is a creator, author, and explorer known for multiple Emmy Award-winning PBS series and her iHeart podcast. She’s blended world-record feats with bold, quirky adventures—from leaping off the world’s highest commercial bungee in Macao to biking WWI battlefields in France and riding horses across the globe—chasing stories that reveal the spirit of place and people. As the host and producer of Travels with Darley, Equitrekking, and Look Up with Darley, she merges travel, history, and narrative to uncover hidden gems across the U.S. and around the world. Her series and podcast air on PBS, Amazon Prime, iHeart, and internationally in 85+ nations. Having filmed in over 30 countries and 26 states, she inspires audiences to explore with purpose. In 2026, she releases her 12th “Revolutionary Road Trip” episode of Travels with Darley and a book commemorating history and travel with lesser known American Revolution stories, including two chapters featuring South Carolina.
