Wade Catts

President, South River Heritage Consulting, and Adjunct Professor, Rowan University

Wade P. Catts is president of South River Heritage Consulting in Newark, Delaware and an adjunct professor at Rowan University. He is a Registered Professional Archaeologist (RPA) specializing in history, archaeology, and historic preservation. He earned a graduate degree in American History from the University of Delaware and has more than four decades of historical archaeological experience and has worked at Revolutionary War camps, forts, and battlefields throughout the Middle Atlantic region, including Brandywine, Bennington, Cooch’s Bridge, The Battle of the Hook, Hubbardton, Princeton, Red Bank, Short Hills, and Stone Arabia/Klock’s Field.  He is the recipient of the Archibald Crozier Award for Distinguished Achievement in and Contributions to Archaeology from the Archeological Society of Delaware (2016) and the History Award Medal from the National Society, Daughters of the American Revolution (2021).
