Executive Director, Museum of Early Trades & Crafts

Deborah Farrar Starker is the Executive Director of the Museum of Early Trades & Crafts (METC) in Madison. She also serves as the mayoral appointed Commissioner for Madison’s Downtown Development Commission. Previously she was the Vice President for Programs & Exhibitions at the Morris Museum, and President of the Madison Arts & Culture Alliance. Prior to her career in the non-profit sector, Deborah worked in international marketing and publishing. She holds an M.A. in Museum Professions from Seton Hall University and a B.S. from the NYU Stern School of Business.
