Glenn Ceponis
Mr. Ceponis is the Executive Director of the New Jersey Historic Trust overseeing the Trust’s mission of advancing historic preservation throughout New Jersey through its education, tourism, stewardship and financial investment programs. Prior to being named Executive Director by the Trust Board of Trustees, he served the Historic Trust for nearly twenty years as a Principal Historic Preservation Specialist. In his previous position Mr. Ceponis worked directly with grantees providing oversight to grant-funded capital and planning projects as well as coordinating its historic preservation easement program. Prior to his work at the Historic Trust, Mr. Ceponis spent fifteen years in the private sector in the field of cultural resource management, three years of which he served a multi-disciplined architectural firm as Director of its Cultural Resource Group providing supervision and project management to a staff of historians, historical architects, archaeologists, architectural historians, and cultural resource specialists. Mr. Ceponis also served ten years on his local Historic Preservation Commission.
