Daniella Carter

Daniella Carter is a dedicated LGBTQ+ youth advocate, serving as Director, Producer, and Creative Producer. She’s spoken at TED Talks Love, TEDxABQ, and TEDxMidAtlantic. Daniella appeared in a Puma campaign alongside Cara Delevingne and addressed youth homelessness at the Human Rights Campaign’s “Time to Thrive Conference.” She’s been featured oh the Trans 100 list, attended the Obama White House’s Annual Emerging Leader’s Day, and appeared on MSNBC, Good Morning American, and more. She initiated projects to amplify trans youth issues, collaborating with Miss Universe and Laverne Cox. Daniella participated in a groundbreaking ADCOLOR panel on LGBTQ inclusion, and she co-directed a series for GLAAD with Gilead Sciences Compass grant program. She directed Self Magazine’s “Let Them Play” series and is featured in the documentary “Kokomocity” which is currently available for streaming on major platforms. She launched ‘Daniella’s Guestbook,’ spotlighting Black creators for opportunities in advertising and creative industries. In August 2022, she produced a short film for the DVOF festival and Chelsea Film Festival’s 10th anniversary. Mrs. Carter is currently working on her directorial debut feature film that focuses on the trans experience growing up in the Midwest and navigating the current political climate.
