Building a Place for History
Kinney Clark is the Technical Director of NJCAR’s GIS-CAMP pilot and is a GIS Specialist with the NJ State Historic Preservation Office, coordinating cultural resources GIS development and other information management initiatives for cultural resources related data. He has been extensively involved in HPO’s response to Superstorm Sandy across a variety of program areas. In addition, he administers HPO’s annual federal funding process, and participates in project development and data coordination for New Jerseys’ Certified Local Government sub-grant program. Mr. Clark previously worked with the HPO’s Transportation Unit, providing historic preservation review and technical assistance under a variety of federal and state programs. He holds a Masters of Historic Preservation from the University of Georgia’s College of Environment and Design, a Bachelors of Business Administration from UGA’s Terry College of Business, and a Professional Certificate in Geomatics from Rutgers University. Mr. Clark currently serves on the local Historic Preservation Advisory Board in Cranford Township.
