Melissa Ziobro
Melissa Ziobro is the Specialist Professor of Public History in the Department of History and Anthropology at Monmouth University in West Long Branch, NJ and the director of the University’s public history minor. She began teaching at Monmouth part-time in 2007 before moving into a full-time position in 2015. Melissa has served for many years as the editor for New Jersey Studies: An Interdisciplinary Journal; publishes frequently herself; and serves on the board of several non-profits (to include Preservation NJ). She worked as a command historian at the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command, Fort Monmouth, NJ from 2004-2011.
